Frühling --- springtime

Der Wetterbericht kündigt Frühlingswetter an für Sonntag, vielleicht ja, weil ich diese Karte heute gebastelt habe? ;-)))

Natürlich habe ich wieder meine Copics benutzt; inzwischen habe ich auch mein zweites Set erhalten und bin nun stolze Besitzerin von 72 Stiften. Nur bis zum nächsten Monat, da bestelle ich mir das nächste 36er Set! Und wenn ich es dann mal irgendwann schaffen sollte, so wunderschön zu colorieren wie einige andere Bloggerinnen, deren Werke ich so sehr bewundere, dann wäre ich sehr froh darüber. Ich werde auf jeden Fall weiter üben! :-)))

The  weather forecast says that spring weather will come to us on sunday, maybe it`s becaus I made this card today? ;-)))

Of course I used my Copics again, I received my second set in the meantime, so now I am proud owner of 72 markers.  Only until next month, then I will order the next set of 36! And if I should ever be able to colour as beautiful as some other bloggers, whose works I admire a lot, then I would be very glad about that. Anyway, I will go on trying! :-)))

Heute habe ich etwas ganz Kuscheliges gebastelt, ist dieser Teddy nicht knuffig? :-))) Ich liebe Teddies, ich habe ganz vielen armen Bärchen, die niemand haben wollte, ein Zuhause gegeben und jeder hat einen Namen. Und tatsächlich, ich bin schon lange erwachsen! *lach*

Ich liebe bekanntermaßen auch Hunde und Katzen - und ab kommenden Montag werden wir wieder einmal die Woche eine Außenstelle des Tierheims betreuen, es sind dort Schlafstellen und ca. 7 Futterstellen (es hat sich wohl einiges geändert in unserer Auszeit), die befüllt werden mit Nass- und Trockenfutter, Wasser, Leckerli, je nach Witterung Sahnequark und wenn junge Katzen da sind, dann auch mit Katzenmilch. Es ist ein schönes Gefühl, wenn man den Tierchen ein bisschen was Gutes tun kann.

Wir hatten ausgesetzt mit unserer Arbeit dort, als Anna den Unfall gehabt hatte und wir sehr viel Zeit mit ihren Therapien verbrachten; wir sind wohl sehr vermisst worden in der Runde derer, die mithelfen. Am Montag ist dann unser erster Einsatz nach Monaten, das ist erst mal wieder ziemlich aufregend - aber auch sehr schön. :-)))

Today I made something very cuddly, isn`t this teddy bear a cutie? :-))) I love Teddies, I have given a new home to many of those poor little bears, nobody wanted them but me. And each one has his own name now. And yes, in fact I have been an adult for a long time! *lol*

You may know that I love dogs as well and also cats, and next monday we will start again feeding the cats once a week on an outpost of our animal shelter. In that area there are  sleeping berths and about seven boxes for food (some things have changed during our time out). The boxes must be filled with wet and dry food, water and treats and according to the weather we feed creamy curd cheese as well, and cat milk too, if there are kittens. It is such a good feeling when you can do something good to the animals.

We had stopped working there when Anna had her accident, as we had to spend a lot of time working with her and going to the therapist, and we have been missed a lot by those who help there. So our first assingment after months will be on monday, it`s quite exciting first, but very good as well. :-)))

Rose in Gelb -- yellow rose

Leider sind die paar Urlaubstage meines Mannes jetzt schon wieder vorbei, morgen früh zieht er wieder los zur Arbeit. Heute Mittag habe ich die Zeit genutzt, während er ein Mittagsschläfchen machte, ich habe eine Rose verarbeitet, die ich in den letzten Tagen coloriert hatte. Auch die Ausstanzungen hatte ich schon fertig, ich war ja schon immer mal an den Basteltisch gehüpft (nur bildlich gesprochen, die Zeit des realen Hüpfens liegt leider hinter mir *lach*) und habe allerhand Kleinigkeiten vorbereitet. 

Coloriert habe ich mit Copics (ich liiiiieeebe sie! In meinem Forum darf ich den Namen ja nicht mehr erwähnen, sonst krieg ich Haue von denen, die keine Copics haben, aber gerne welche hätten! *griiiiins*), Hintergrund ist eingefärbt mit distress tattered rose, brushed corduroy und antique linen. Man öffnet die Karte in der Mitte, die Rose klappt nach oben weg, dann sieht man das obere Bild. :-)))

Unfortunately my husband`s leave days are over now, he will leave for work tomorrow morning again. This noon, while he had his after-lunch sleep, I took the opportunity to use this rose for a card. I had coloured the rose already, the cuttings I had also done before, because I hopped over to my craft table from time to time (but the hopping is meant only figurative, my hopping time is gone *lol*) and prepared some Bits and Bobs.

I coloured with Copics (I looooove them! But in my Forum  they don`t allow me to say the name, otherwise  those who don`t have copics but would like to have them  will beat me! *lol*). Background is coloured with distress tattered rose, brushed corduroy and antique linen. The card  opens up  in the middle, the rose will turn up and then you see the upper picture. :-)))

Neulich habe ich ja erzählt, dass unsere Anna zum letzten Mal zur Physiotherapie musste; einerseits ist es schön, dass sie soweit wieder heile ist, dass den Rest der Heilung jetzt die Zeit bringen muss, andererseits war es für uns alle sehr schön dort. Anna wurde verwöhnt durch ausgiebige Massagen nach dem Unterwasserlaufband, dabei schnurrte sie wirklich wie ein Kätzchen..............na ja, wie ein sehr großes Kätzchen, es klang schon eher nach Wildschwein. *lach* Und wir haben in der Zeit sehr nette, angeregte Gespräche mit der Therapeutin geführt, wie gesagt: Wir haben uns alle wohlgefühlt.

Natürlich hab ich eine große Dankeschön-Karte gemacht, sie hat DIN A4-Größe. Ich weiß, sie ist sehr bunt, ich finde aber, das passt genau zu Annas fröhlichem Wesen, sie ist so quirlig und freundlich, die Karte musste genau so aussehen! :-)))

I told you lately about Anna, that we had our last date at her physical therapy. Of course we are glad on the one hand, that she is cured and that the rest of the healing must be done by time. On  the other  hand it was very nice there for the three of us. Anna had a full body massage every time after the underwater treadmill, and she used to purr like a kitten...............oh well, like a very big kitten, it actually sounds more like a wild sow. *lol* And we used to have very stimulating conversation  with the therapist. As I said, we all were comfortable there.

Needless to say, I made a big thank-you card for her in DIN A4 size. It is very colourful, I know, but I think this fits perfectly to Annas cheerful character, she is so lively and friendly, the card just hat to look exactly like this! :-)))

Karneval -- carnival

Wenn mein Mann ein paar Tage Urlaub hat, wie jetzt gerade, dann ist das wirklich toll, dass wir so viel Zeit miteinander verbringen können. Nur zum Basteln komme ich nicht viel, ist ja klar, das ist ja nichts, was wir gemeinsam machen - schade eigentlich. ;-))))

Deshalb kurbele und male ich jedesmal ganz schnell ein bisschen, wenn ich am Basteltisch vorbeikomme, damit ich nicht allzu sehr auf Entzug komme. *lach* Und so habe ich ein schnelles kleines Kärtchen gebastelt, fast alles ist gekurbelt.

Morgen kommt meine Mutter her, wir werden nach dem Mittagessen ein bisschen Karten spielen und auf den Karnevalszug warten, der dann am Nachmittag, hoffentlich ohne Regen, hier am Haus vorbei geht. Den wollen wir natürlich nicht versäumen, wir gehen raus, frieren und erfreuen uns am bunten Treiben. Und danach sind wir dann froh, wenn wir uns drinnen bei einem heißen Tee wieder aufwärmen können. :-))) 

Ich wünsche euch allen ein schönes Wochenende, mit oder ohne Karneval, ich winke mit einem Alaaf! (und einem Helau! natürlich auch!)  :-)))

When my husband has some leave days like right now that is really great, because we can spend so much time together. But I hardly can do any crafting of course, as this is nothing we do together -  a pity actually. ;-)))

So I punch and paint quickly a little bit every time I pass my crafting table, so that I never feel deprived of crafting. *lol*  I just made this quick little card, almost everything is punched out.

Tomorrow my mother will be here for a visit, after lunch we will play cards and wait for the carnival procession that will pass our house in the afternoon, hopefully without rain. We don`t want to miss that, so we will go outside, freeze, and enjoy carnival. And afterwards we will be glad to go back inside and warm up ourselves with a hot cup of tea. :-)))

May you all have a nice weekend, with or without carnival,  I wave with an with an Alaaf! (and a Helau! as well, of course!) :-)))

Drei Schafe --- three sheep

Sind diese Schafe nicht niedlich, wie sie so verträumt grasen und schauen? Das ist so ein richtiger Gute-Laune-Stempel. :-)))

Während heute rund um uns herum fast alle im Regen Karneval gefeiert haben, waren wir gemütlich zu Hause, haben  gebastelt (nee, nicht wir beide, nur ich! *grins*) haben uns einen Film auf DVD angesehen, geredet und viel gelacht. Ein schöner Tag! :-)))

While almost everybody around us celebrated carnival in the rain, we nestled up at home, crafted (oh no, not the two of us, that was only me *lol*), watched a film on DVD, talked and laughed a lot. A beautiful day! :-))))

Schmetterlinge -- butterflies

Heute habe ich neue Spellies bekommen - sieht man das? *grins* Ich habe gleich ein ganz einfaches Kärtchen gemacht aus diesem traumhaften K & Co-Papier.

Und vorhin waren wir mit Anna zur Physiotherapie und haben erfahren: Das war das hoffentlich letzte Mal! Wir freuen uns sehr (unser Bankkonto auch)! Anna hatte im August letzten Jahres einen kleinen Sportunfall im Garten und sich dabei einen Kreuzband- und Meniskusriss zugezogen. Erst die zweite Operation am 17.10. konnte alles befestigen, das Implantat der ersten OP hatte nicht gehalten, weil Anna allergisch reagiert und deshalb Bakterien eingedrungen waren. 

Es wird zwar noch eine Weile dauern, bis sie wieder mit anderen Hunden spielen und rumtoben darf, aber das Schlimmste liegt nun hinter uns. Andererseits ist es ein bisschen traurig, dass die Zeit vorbei ist, weil die Therapeutin sehr nett ist und wir alle drei sehr gerne hingingen zum Unterwasserlaufband und vor allen Dingen zur anschließenden Massage. :-))))

I received my new Spellbinders today, can you see that? *lol* I had to make a quick card right away and used this lovely K & Co  paper.

And today Anna had her physiotherapy and hopefully that was the last time for her! We are really glad and so is our bank account. Anna had a little sports injury in the garden last august which caused  cruciate ligament rupture and rupture of the meniscus. Only the second operation on october  17. was successful and everything was fastened, the implant from the first operation did not last, because Anna had an allergic reaction and so germs broke in.

It will take quite a while until she can play with the other dogs, but bad times are over now. On the other hand it`s a little bit sad cause the therapist is a nice and kind woman and the three of us had fun going there for underwater treadmill and most of all for the massage afterwards. :-)))))

Kirschblüten -- cherry blossoms

Ach sind diese Copics toll ................... ich möchte einfach ALLES anmalen! ;-)))  Natürlich habe ich auch meine beiden Bastelfreundinnen Anette und  Wilma mit der Sucht angesteckt, die wollen jetzt auch beide Copics haben!

Nur noch ein Tag Arbeit, dann hat mein Mann sechs Tage frei, Karnevalsurlaub! Aber wir stürzen uns nicht ins bunte Treiben, wir sind ganz solide. *lach* Nur wenn der Zug am Sonntag hier am Haus lang geht, dann sind wir natürlich dabei und gucken zu! Ansonsten machen wir uns einfach eine schöne ruhige Zeit zusammen. :-)))

Oh these copics are gorgeous ................... I want to paint just everything! ;-)))  Of course I fixed my crafting friends Anette and Wilma, they both want to have copics of their own now!

Only one more day at work, then my husband will have six days off, carnival holiday! But we will not jump into the hustle, we are very respectable. *lol* But when the carnival procession will pass our house, we will be there and watch. Apart from that we will simply have a good, easeful time together.:-)))

Bärchen -- teddy-bear

Dieses Bärchen hab ich natürlich mit Copics coloriert - das sind tolle Stifte zum Malen und ausmalen auf Alkoholbasis. Bisher hab ich 36 Stück, die nächsten 36 sind schon auf dem Weg zu mir! ;-))) Das Bändchen ist mit distress eingefärbt.

Heute nachmittag ist wieder Basteln bei meiner lieben Freundin Anette, zusammen mit ihrer netten Kollegin Wilma. Wir machen das öfter, weil es viel Spaß macht, zusammen zu basteln und zu quatschen! :-)))

Erster Versuch mit Copics -- First attempt with copics

Gestern sind sie gekommen, meine ersten 36 Copics. Das sind natürlich viel zu wenig, hab ich heute gleich bemerkt und so "soll" mir gleich noch welche bestellen, sagt mein Mann ................. Hihihi ....... Ihr wisst also, was ich gleich machen werde: Farben aussuchen und bestellen! *freu* Die sind aber auch so was von genial und toll, so was hab ich noch nicht erlebt.

Ich kann gar nicht mehr aufhören zu experimentieren und bin ganz begeistert von den Möglichkeiten.Ich zeige euch heute mein allererstes Werk, das ich dann auch gleich verbastelt habe. Die weiteren Colorationen sind immer schöner geworden, das Spiel mit Licht und Schatten klappt immer besser. Die zeige ich dann, wenn sie verbastelt sind. ;-))

Yesterdy I received my first 36 Copics. Of course that`s an insufficient number of copics, I found out immediately and so my my husband told me I should buy some more right now. So you know what I´m going to do in a moment: Choose colours and order! :-))) Actually those copics are awesome, I never used anything alike!

I can`t stop trying and I`m totally thrilled about the possibilities. Today I present  my very first creation, which I made a card of right away. The next colorations became more beautiful, patterns of light and shadow  are getting better with every picture. I`ll present them, when I put them together to cards. ;-)))  ("Viel Glück" means "good luck")

Parfum -- perfume

Gestern hab ich diese kleine süße Maus bemalt und verbastelt, ich kann mich ja so gut in sie hinein versetzen, ich bin auch so ein Parfum-Liebhaber! Selbst wenn ich ganz allein zu Hause bin, ein Tröpfchen schönes Parfum mag ich immer gerne. :-))

Diese Maus ist noch mit distress coloriert, aber ab morgen beginnt eine neue Aera: Heute Mittag kamen meine ersten 36 Copic-Stifte an! *schwärm* 

Ich hab schon ganz schnell einen Stempelabdruck coloriert, dann mussten wir leider weg, familiäre Verpflichtungen (die kommen aber auch manchmal unpassend! *grins*)! Aber morgen, wenn mein lieber Mann zur Arbeit muss, da weiß ich schon, was ich in der Zeit tun werde................. ;-)))

Yesterday I painted this cute little mouse and made a card with it. I can easily put myself in the position of this mouse,  as I love perfume myself! Even when I am home alone, I always like to use a drop of perfume. :-)))

This mouse is colorized with distress, but tomorrow a new era will start: Today at noon my first 36 copics arrived here! 

I colorized one stamp very quickly, but then we unfortunately had to leave the house because of family commitments (sometimes it`s really the wrong time for something like that! *lol*). But tomorrow, when my dear husband has gone to work, I know what I will do then............ ;-)))

Geschenke -- Gifts

Heute zeige ich euch zwei Geschenke, die ich für Martina  zum Geburtstag gebastelt hatte, ein bisschen Deko für ihr Bastelzimmer. Da sie die Sachen inzwischen bekommen hat, kann ich sie ja zeigen. 

Das Herz mit den Flügeln ist aus Grundgeboard, beschichtet mit drei Schichten UTEE (das war vielleicht eine Schweinerei, das Zeug ist überall hingeflogen, als ich mit dem Heißluftföhn kam, und weil es klebrig war durch das Versamark, klebte es dann dort, wo es landete. Trotzdem hat es Spaß gemacht und ich finde das Ergebnis wirklich schön. Ich hab es noch mit zwei Brads von Kaiserkraft verziert, die farblich so schön passen.

Das andere ist eine alte Malerpalette aus Holz, die ich zuerst mit Papier von K & Co beklebt habe,darauf ein großer, eingefärbter Schnörkel aus Grundgeboard und vier Glashalter, die mit Alcohol inks gefärbt und mit Kupferband gefasst sind. Und natürlich ein Herzschloss mit Schlüssel, weil Martina fest in meinem Herzen ist, sie ist eine ganz liebe Freundin geworden! :-)))

Today I show you two gifts that I made for  Martina `s birthday, some decoration for her crafting room. As she already recieved the gifts, I can show them to you.

The winged heart is made of grundgeboard, which I covered with three layers of UTEE. That was quite a mess, as it flew away all over, when I came with my heat gun, and cuase it was sticky with versamark it stuck everywhere. And yet it was a lot of fun and I quite like the result. I used two brads from Kaisercraft, the color fits perfectly.

The other gift is made of an old wooden palette, which I covered with K & Co paper. Then I put a colourized grundgeboard flourish on top an four small glass plates that I inked up with alcohol inks and framed with copper tape. And a heart lock with a key of course, because Martina is definitely in my heart, she has become a good friend of mine! :-)))

Akkordeon - accordion

Dieses niedliche Kerlchen hab ich ziemlich neu, es erinnert mich an meine jugendliche Zeit im Akkordeonorchester...............ja, ich hab jahrelang Akkordeon gespielt und hätte doch viel lieber Klavier gelernt. *lach*

This cute little guy is quite new for me, it reminds me of my youth time in the accordion orchestra............yes, I played the accordion for several years, yet I would have prefered learning to play the piano. *lol*

First I have to say one nice thing about the man in my life : Wolfgang, my husband is the best husband in the world for me. He supports me wherever he can, he is happy when I am happy and almost every day he tells me how lucky he is with me. There is so much more to say........ :-))

Next I need to list 6 ways I measure success in my life:
1)  Making my husband, my family and my friends happy.
2)  Crafting something that not only I think is beautiful. *lol*
3)  All dirty laundry is washed and ironed.
4)  My son (he lives 900 km  away) calles me up only to talk. 
5)  Totally painless minutes. :-))
6) (I totally agree with Sonya!) Friendly hello's and lovely comments on my blog posts, of course!

Sonya   eine ganz liebe Bastelfreundin aus Neuseeland, die wunderschöne Sachen bastelt (unbedingt mal anschauen!), hat mich mit diesem tollen Award überrascht - vielen Dank dafür, liebe Sonya, es ist mir eine große Ehre und Freude! :-)))

Zuerst muss ich etwas Nettes sagen über den Mann in meinem Leben: Wolfgang, mein Mann, ist für mich der beste Ehemann der Welt. Er unterstützt mich wo er nur kann, freut sich, wenn ich Freude habe und sagt mir ganz oft, wie glücklich er mit mir ist. Es gäbe noch so viel mehr zu sagen......... :-)))

Als zweites muss ich sechs Arten aufzählen, woran ich Erfolg in meinem Leben bemesse:                     1. Wenn ich meinen Mann, meine Familie und meine Freunde  glücklich machen kann.                     2. Ich habe was Tolles gebastelt und nicht nur ich finde das schön. *lach*                                           3. Die ganzeWäsche ist gewaschen und gebügelt.                                                                                     4. Mein Sohn (er lebt 900 km weit weg) meldet sich einfach nur so um zu quatschen.                     5. Völlig schmerzfreie Minuten. :-))                                                                                                             6. (Ich stimme absolut überein mit Sonya!) Freundliche Hallos und nette Kommentare zu                  meinen Blogeinträgen! :-))))

Etwas wilder -- a bit wilder

Gestern Abend hab ich doch tatsächlich vergessen, meine Medikamente zu nehmen!  Erst Stunden später, als ich immer noch hellwach im Bett lag und grübelte, wieso meine Schmerzen immer größer und ich immer steifer werde, da fiel es mir heiß ein: Ich hatte sie auf den Esstisch gelegt und vergessen............. ((((

Ich habe es dann noch haarscharf innerhalb der Nachholfrist geschafft, die Pillen einzuwerfen, geschlafen hab ich dann erst viel später. Ich hoffe, ich vergesse die nie wieder!

Ich hab auch ein kleines bisschen gebastelt, eine ziemlich wilde, bunte Karte, nicht wahr? Es kam so über mich. *lach*

Yesterday I actually forgot to take my medicine! Hours later, when I lay in bed wide awake, meditaking why my pains were getting worse and my body more inflexible, it occured to me that  I placed them on the dining table and forgot to take them................. :-(((

Almost in the last minute I made it to take my pills before the end of the time it is allowed to. It took a long while before I could fall asleep afterwards. I hopeI`ll never forget them again!

Rosa Rosen -- rosy roses

Es regnet. Es regnet. Es regnet und regnet immer weiter. Brrrr, nicht mal Anna mag gerne lange draußen sein (JA, sie IST ein Bernhardiner! *lach*)!

Heute zeige ich ein schnelles Kärtchen, diese schönen Sticker fand ich in meinen Beständen und hab sie gleich verbastelt. Ich hoffe, sie gefällt euch auch.

Und jetzt gehe ich in die Badewanne und mache es mir gemütlich! :-)))

Wochenende -- weekend

Wir haben uns heute einen schönen Tag zusammen gemacht, mein Mann und ich. Leider ist er nun schon vorbei, aber die Feier mit der Familie kommt ja erst ein Weilchen später, heute wollten wir einfach unter uns bleiben. :-))

Ein kleines Kärtchen hab ich aber, vielleicht gefällt es euch ja. Wenn ich erst mal meine Copic-Stifte habe (nein, ich hab sie noch nicht bestellt, aber mir schon die Farben ausgesucht, die ich unbedingt brauche *grins), dann kann ich viel schöner colorieren. *seufz*

We had a nice time together today, my husband and I. It`s sad, but it`s already over now. The big family party will be some time later, today we wanted to stay in private. :-))

But I have one little card, maybe you like it. And when one day I´ll have my copics (no, I did not order them yet, but at least I chosed the colours that I definitely need. *lol*), then I will be able to colourize much better. *sigh*

Der Tag davor -- The day before

Morgen hat mein lieber Mann Geburtstag, er hat sich sogar frei genommen, so dass wir uns einen schönen Tag machen können. Familienfeier findet später statt, morgen haben wir nur für uns. :-))

Auf jeden Fall werden wir am Mittag chinesisches Buffet essen gehen, das wünscht er sich. Schon seltsam: Vor wenigen Jahren noch war er der Überzeugung, dass dort ganz eklige Sachen serviert werden, inzwischen gehört chinesisches Buffet zu seinen Leibspeisen.  So ändern sich die Ansichten......... ;-))

So blass, wie sie hier rüberkommt, ist die Karte eigentlich gar nicht, in Wirklichkeit sieht sie ganz schön aus. *lach* Sind diese tollen neuen Stanzen nicht wunderschön?

Tomorrow is my dear husband`s birthday and as he will take a day off, we can have a nice time together. Family celebration will be some days later, so tomorrow is only for the two of us. :-))

We will definitely go to our chinese restaurant and eat from the buffet, that`s what he wants. It`s quite funny, a few years ago he was sure that they serve disgusting stuff there, but now chinese buffet belongs to his favourite dishes. Opinions can change! ;-))

This card is not as pale as it seems to, it looks quite nice in reality. *smile* Aren`t those great  new dies just wonderful?

Mittwoch -- Wednesday

Zuerst mal wollte ich euch sagen, dass ich mich immer sehr freue über eure lieben Kommentare, es ist so schön, dass wir über das Internet verbunden sind, egal, wie weit wir voneinander entfernt leben. Dankeschön euch allen!  :-))

Draußen ist es ganz ungemütlich, nasskalt, Temperaturen um den Gefrierpunkt, es war den ganzen Tag nicht richtig hell. Das richtige Bastelwetter! :-)) Ich habe jede Menge Stempelabdrücke coloriert für ein größeres Projekt, außerdem diese Karte gebastelt.

Wenn ich so recht darüber nachdenke, ist eigentlich immer Bastelwetter, im Sommer bei Hitze dann eben nur draußen auf der Terrasse unter der Markise  .......... *träum*

Dabei fällt mir Sonya  aus Neuseeland ein, bei ihr ist ja momentan so richtig heißer Sommer. Und das ist soooo weit weg, unvorstellbar weit! Sie fragte grad heute, wie der Zeitunterschied zwischen uns ist, ich hab mal nachgesehen: Genau 12 Stunden ist Neuseeland uns hier in Deutschland voraus! Also bei uns ist es 18 Uhr und bei ihr schon 6 Uhr früh, sie steht wahrscheinlich grad wieder auf.  Na dann also: Guten Morgen, Sonya! :-)))

First of all I want to tell you that I really appreciate your kind comments, it is so nice that we all are joined because of internet, no matter how far away we live. Thanks to all of you! :-))

The weather outside is so uncomfortable, wet and cold, temperature around freezing point, quite dark all day long. Perfect day to craft! :-)))  I colourized a lot of stamp prints for a project, besides I made this card.

On second thoughts, it`s always best weather to craft, in summer I do it outside on the patio under the marquee.......... *dream* :-))

Sonya  from New Zealand comes to my mind right now,  there is hot  summer at the moment. And it is soooo far away, incredibly far!  She asked just today what the time difference between our countries is, so I peeked: New Zealand is exactly 12 hours ahead of Germany! So here it is 6 p.m. and there it`s already 6 a.m. next morning, probably she is just getting up. Well then: Good morning, Sonya! :-)))

Von meiner lieben Bastelfreundin Ina, einer wahren Künstlerin, hab ich umwerfend schöne Überraschungspost bekommen: Diese tolle Karte in rot-schwarz und ein selbstgebundener und gestaltetes Buch voll mit vielen wunderschönen, sehr positiven Gedichten. Ich hab mich riesig gefreut und freue mich immer noch, diese Freude möchte ich mit euch teilen! :-)))

Dame in Lila --- purple lady

Was ist heute so passiert? Nichts. Wirklich gar nichts. Ein ganz normaler, ruhiger Tag ist es gewesen; alle sind gesund, alles funktioniert, ich hab Erbsensuppe gekocht und ein bisschen gebastelt und viel mit Anna geschmust, geredet und gespielt, bis mein Mann von der Arbeit kam und sagte, wie glücklich er ist, dass er bei mir ist.  Ein richtig schöner Tag. :-))))

What happened today? Nothing. Really nothing at all. Just a quiet, normal day. Everybody is healthy, everything works fine, I cooked pea soup, crafted a card and I cuddled, talked and played  a lot with Anna, until my husband came home from work and told me me  how happy he ist that he is with me. Really a beautiful day. :-))))

Fauler Sonntag --- Lazy sunday

Mein Mann musste heute arbeiten und ich hab es mir gut gehen lassen, hab lange geschlafen, mit Anna gespielt und geschmust, war in der Infrarot-Sauna und nach dem Duschen hab ich ein bisschen gebastelt, bis mein Mann nach Hause kam. Nur eine einzige Karte hab ich gemacht, habe ewig überlegt, welche Papiere und welche Details ich verwenden soll. Auf dem Scan kommen die Farben erwas verfälscht rüber, das grüne Schleifenband ist in Wirklichkeit nicht so grell. Und jetzt machen wir uns zusammen noch einen schönen Rest-Sonntag! :-))

As my husband had to go to work today, I made myself a lazy sunday. I got up late,  played and cuddled up with Anna, then I was in the infrared sauna and after having a shower I did some crafting, until my husband came home again. I made only one single card cause it took ages to find out which papers and which details I was going to use. Colours look a little different on the scan, the green ribbon is not that screaming in reality. And now we are going to have a nice sunday together for the rest of the day. :-))
