Lovely gift from Sonya

A few days ago I received a big envelope (my husband asked me what I ordered again! LOL) - it had come all the way from New Zealand, from Sonya   - such a lovely surprise! :-)))

And here is what she sent to me: This absolutely stunning card (look at all the gorgeous details!), pretty stickers and pictures and New Zealand`s first Scrap-magazine. Oh, and some self-adhesive beads were given with the magazine, I already took them off.

And a very special surprise is, that one of Sonyas adorable scrapbook pages is printed in this magazine, on page 49 (I included a scan here). I am very proud of you, Sonya! And I thank you very, very much for this lovely surprise, I am so happy with it! :-)))))

Vor einigen Tagen bekam ich einen großen Umschlag zugeschickt (mein Mann fragte gleich, was ich denn schon wieder bestellt hatte *grins*), von ganz weit her, von Neuseeland, von Sonya   - was für eine zauberhafte Überraschung! :-)))

DIese Dinge hat sie mir geschickt: Eine ganz tolle Karte (was für tolle Details!), wundeschöne Sticker und nostalgische Bildchen und das erste neuseeländische Scrapmagazin. Oh, und es waren noch ein paar selbstklebende Perlchen dabei, die hab ich schon weggenommen.

Und eine ganz besondere Überraschung ist, dass eine von Sonyas bewundernswerten Seiten in diesem Magazin veröffentlicht ist, auf Seite 49 (ich hab einen Scan eingefügt). Ich bin so stolz auf Sonya! Und vielen, vielen Dank für dieses wundervolle Geschenk, ich freue mich riesig! :-)))                

Regen --- Rain

In den letzten Tagen waren wir so verwöhnt mit sonnigen, warmen Frühlingstagen, da brauchen wir nicht traurig zu sein, dass es heute heftig regnet. Bauern und Gärten sind sicher dankbar. :-))

Und ich bin ganz aufgeregt und überglücklich: Mein Sohn wird uns im Mai besuchen! Er lebt so weit weg, deshalb sehen wir ihn nicht oft, umso mehr bin ich dankbar dafür, dass er ein paar Tage frei haben wird und sie mit uns verbringt. :-))))

Heute zeige ich euch ein Büchlein, das ich für meine Freundin Bine zum Geburtstag gemacht habe, wahrscheinlich köntn ihr erraten, wessen Fan sie ist. ;-)) Es sind sechs Seiten drin, die gleichzeitig Taschen sind für Fotos. Ich hab noch ein paar Sprüche über Freundschaft eingefügt. Und tatsächlich mochte sie das Geschenk sehr! :-))) Liebe Grüße an euch, wo auch immer ihr seid! :-))))

We were so blessed with beautiful warm and sunny spring weather the last days, so it is not sad that we have lots of rain today. Farmers and gardens will be very thankful. :-))

And I am so thrilled and more than happy: My son will visit us in may! He lives far away, so we don`t see him often, all the more I am so grateful that he will have some days off and will spend them with us. :-))))

Today I show you a booklet that I made for my friend Bine`s birthday, I suppose you can guess whose fan she is. ;-)) There are six pages inside, each one is a pocket for pictures. I added some sayings about friendship. And actually she liked the gift a lot! :-))) Lots of love to you, wherever you are! .-)))

Teddybär --- Teddy Bear

Diese Sachen hatte ich an Sonya   geschickt, sie meinte nun, ich solle sie hier auch zeigen. Außer dem Teddybär-Engelchen hab ich alles selbst gebastelt. Zum Glück ist alles heil in Neuseeland angekommen   - und es scheint sogar, als ob Sonya Kette, Armband,Karte und Box auch gefallen.    ;-)))

I had sent these things to Sonya  , now she said I should show them here as well. With exception of the teddy bear angel I made everything by myself. Fortunately it arrived safely in New Zealand - and it looks like Sonya does like necklace, bracelet, card and box! ;-)))

Geschenke -- Gifts

Heute zeige ich euch zwei Geschenke, die ich für Martina  zum Geburtstag gebastelt hatte, ein bisschen Deko für ihr Bastelzimmer. Da sie die Sachen inzwischen bekommen hat, kann ich sie ja zeigen. 

Das Herz mit den Flügeln ist aus Grundgeboard, beschichtet mit drei Schichten UTEE (das war vielleicht eine Schweinerei, das Zeug ist überall hingeflogen, als ich mit dem Heißluftföhn kam, und weil es klebrig war durch das Versamark, klebte es dann dort, wo es landete. Trotzdem hat es Spaß gemacht und ich finde das Ergebnis wirklich schön. Ich hab es noch mit zwei Brads von Kaiserkraft verziert, die farblich so schön passen.

Das andere ist eine alte Malerpalette aus Holz, die ich zuerst mit Papier von K & Co beklebt habe,darauf ein großer, eingefärbter Schnörkel aus Grundgeboard und vier Glashalter, die mit Alcohol inks gefärbt und mit Kupferband gefasst sind. Und natürlich ein Herzschloss mit Schlüssel, weil Martina fest in meinem Herzen ist, sie ist eine ganz liebe Freundin geworden! :-)))

Today I show you two gifts that I made for  Martina `s birthday, some decoration for her crafting room. As she already recieved the gifts, I can show them to you.

The winged heart is made of grundgeboard, which I covered with three layers of UTEE. That was quite a mess, as it flew away all over, when I came with my heat gun, and cuase it was sticky with versamark it stuck everywhere. And yet it was a lot of fun and I quite like the result. I used two brads from Kaisercraft, the color fits perfectly.

The other gift is made of an old wooden palette, which I covered with K & Co paper. Then I put a colourized grundgeboard flourish on top an four small glass plates that I inked up with alcohol inks and framed with copper tape. And a heart lock with a key of course, because Martina is definitely in my heart, she has become a good friend of mine! :-)))
