Flower soft

Was kann ich mitten in der Nacht tun, wenn ich nicht schlafen kann und ich mich beruhigen möchte? Ganz einfach und effektiv: ich bastele Karten, das vertreibt die Sorgen. Und ich habe eine Menge Karten gebastelt in der letzten Zeit! ;-)))

Hier ist eine davon, einfach um meinen Blog am Laufen zu halten. Fünf Lagen 3-D und ein bisschen Flower soft oben drauf. Liebe Grüße an euch! :-)))

What can I do in the middle of the night, when I can`t sleep and want to calm down?

Very simple and effective: I make cards, that keeps worries away . And I made a lot of cards lately. ;-)))

Here is one, just to keep my blog on going. It is made in 5 layers of decoupage and a bit of flower soft on top. Lots of love to you!!! :-)))

Lost in translation ---- Verloren im Übersetzungsrausch

Yes, that`s what I am: lost in translation! LOL

Helping my friend Claudia with her studies by translating strange essays written in psychological English, actually not one of my favourite things to do. But I love to help Claudia, so I do it with diligence and do my very best and I am really happy that I can give this to my friend. Yet I know much more about psychology than I ever wanted to know......... ;-))))

So now a little bit of blogging in between: Here is a card that I made the other day, I hope you like it (Image and flourishes from Sonya  ! . Will I ever make it to catch up all of your blogging? It seems that life was not at all boring the past time, and still is not. My husband is still ill, I do hope that he will be better soon and our life will come to a normal level. But if not, we`ll make the best with it! :-))))

Ja, so geht es mir: Ich bin verloren im Übersetzungsrausch! *lach*

Ich helfe meiner Freundin Claudia, für ihr Studium seltsame englische Psychologie-Texte zu übersetzen, eigentlich nicht gerade meine Lieblingsaufgabe. Aber ich liebe es, Claudia helfen zu können, also gehe ich mit Eifer ran und gebe mein Bestes. Und ich bin wirklich froh, dass ich das meiner Freundin geben kann. Dennoch weiß ich weit mehr über Psychologie, als ich jemals wissen wollte................ ;-))))

Hier also ein kleines bisschen bloggen zwischendurch, hier ist eine Karte, die ich neulich gebastelt habe, ich hoffe, sie gefällt euch (Bild und Schnörkel von Sonya  !). Werde ich es jemals schaffen, all euer Bloggen nachzuholen? Anscheinend war unser Leben in der letzten Zeit nicht gerade langweilig und ist es auch noch nicht. Mein Mann ist immer noch krank, ich hoffe, dass es ihm bald besser geht und dass unser Leben wieder auf usner normales Level kommt. Und wenn nicht, dann machen wir eben das Beste draus! :-))))

Challenge Card Patterns 19

Yesterday evening my husband, who is still ill, was in bed early, but I had just received a wonderful parcel with some gorgeous Stampin Up stuff from Margot (my dealer) - so I had a lot of fun making some cards, oh this is so good for the soul. :-)))

And finally I made it, here is my entry for Card Patterns Challenge No 19   - I hope you like it.

Gestern Abend war mein Mann, der immer noch krank ist, früh im Bett, aber da ich grad ein wundervolles Päckchen mit tollen Stampin Up Sachen bekommen hatte von Margot , meiner Dealerin, hab ich natürlich ein paar Karten gebastelt, das hat so einen Spaß gemacht und hat der Seele so gut getan. :-)))

Und endlich hab ich es mal wieder geschafft, bei einer Challenge mitzumachen, hier ist mein Beitrag zu  Card Patterns Challenge No 19     - ich hoffe, die Karte gefällt euch.                           

Boxen -- Boxes

The other day I already told you that I made 50 boxes for our friend Rolf`s 50th birthday party, a little gift for every guest. Inside there is a cute little frog candle, and the text means: A little takeaway memory. I had ordered frog stickers to stick on each box, but obviously they got lost on their way to our house, so the dealer returned the money - and the boxes are frog-less. ;-))

And I punched out hundreds of little frogs in green, orange and red and put them into a freezer bag (you can see them underneath the boxes), and they are meant to decorate the tables.

I had no idea that it would take many hours to make these boxes and the buttons and all the gluing, but it was a lot of fun. And now I hope that the guests will appreciate them and everyone has a lot of fun tonight, because the big party will start in a few hours! Unfortunately we cannot be there because our Anna is not allowed to play with other dogs yet since her accident, but of course our thoughts will be with you, Claudia and Rolf! Neulich hab ich davon erzählt, dass ich 50 Boxen gebastelt habe für die Geburtstagsparty zum 50. unseres Freundes Rolf. In jeder Box steckt ein kleines Frosch-Teelicht. Ich hatte Sticker mit Fröschen geordert, um sie auf die Boxen zu kleben, doch leider kamen die nie an, das Geld habe ich dann zurück überwiesen bekommen  - und so sind die Boxen frosch-los. ;-))

Und ich habe hunderte kleiner Fröschlein ausgestanzt in grün, orange und rot, sie stecken in der Gefriertüte, die man unterhalb der Boxen sehen kann, die werden als Streufrösche auf den Tischen verteilt.

Mir war gar nicht bewusst gewesen, wieviele Stunden draufgehen würden mit dem Basteln der Boxen und der Schildchen und dem Zusammenkleben, aber es hat viel Spaß gemacht. Und jetzt hoffe ich, die Gäste werden sich an den kleinen Geschenken erfreuen und alle werden viel Spaß haben heute Abend, denn die große Party fängt in ein paar Stunden an! Leider können wir nicht dabei sein, weil unsere Anna noch nciht mit anderen Hunden spielen darf seit ihrem Unfall, aber natürlich denken wir an euch, Claudia und Rolf! Alle guten Wünsche für euch!!!! :-))))

Yesterday evening I was touched by the muse, finally, and here is the result. The image is one that I got from Sonya  , just like these beautiful flourishes from K&Company. The saying means "Congratulations".

Life is quite busy for for us the moment, my dog Anna gets strange seizures, we don`t know yet where that comes from, the vet is on the search. And my husband is quite ill will dizziness.  But I´m trying to do some crafting and blogging, a good way of recreation. :-)))

Gestern wurde ich endlich von der Muse geküsst, hier ist das Ergebnis. Das Bildchen ist eins von denen, die Sonya  mir geschickt hat, genau wie diese zauberhaften Schnörkel von K&Company.

Das Leben ist für uns ziemlich aufwändig momentan, mein Hund Anna bekommt seltsame Anfälle, die Ursache kennen wir noch nicht, die Tierärztin ist auf der Suche. Und mein Mann bekommt unschöne Schwindelanfälle und fühlt sich entsprechend unwohl. Aber ich versuche, ein bisschen zu basteln und zu bloggen, eine gute Art der Entspannung. :-))) 

Einen schönen Tag wünsche ich euch allen, wo auch immer ihr seid!  Und vielen Dank für eure Unterstützung, das bedeutet mir sehr viel!:-)))

Old-fashioned --- Altmodisch

Please don`t laugh, the only cards that I made in the past days are quite old-fashioned, my mother needs some. And as I love setting gems and decoupage, it`s so good for my nerves, this is what I made. ;-)))

Bitte nicht lachen, die einzigen Karten, die ich in den letzten Tagen gebastelt habe, sind ziemlich altmodisch, meine Mutter hat welche angefordert. Und da ich es liebe, Steinchen zu setzen und 3-D-Bildchen auszuschneiden, das ist so beruhigend für meine Nerven, hab ich das so gemacht! ;-)))

Lovely gift from Sonya

A few days ago I received a big envelope (my husband asked me what I ordered again! LOL) - it had come all the way from New Zealand, from Sonya   - such a lovely surprise! :-)))

And here is what she sent to me: This absolutely stunning card (look at all the gorgeous details!), pretty stickers and pictures and New Zealand`s first Scrap-magazine. Oh, and some self-adhesive beads were given with the magazine, I already took them off.

And a very special surprise is, that one of Sonyas adorable scrapbook pages is printed in this magazine, on page 49 (I included a scan here). I am very proud of you, Sonya! And I thank you very, very much for this lovely surprise, I am so happy with it! :-)))))

Vor einigen Tagen bekam ich einen großen Umschlag zugeschickt (mein Mann fragte gleich, was ich denn schon wieder bestellt hatte *grins*), von ganz weit her, von Neuseeland, von Sonya   - was für eine zauberhafte Überraschung! :-)))

DIese Dinge hat sie mir geschickt: Eine ganz tolle Karte (was für tolle Details!), wundeschöne Sticker und nostalgische Bildchen und das erste neuseeländische Scrapmagazin. Oh, und es waren noch ein paar selbstklebende Perlchen dabei, die hab ich schon weggenommen.

Und eine ganz besondere Überraschung ist, dass eine von Sonyas bewundernswerten Seiten in diesem Magazin veröffentlicht ist, auf Seite 49 (ich hab einen Scan eingefügt). Ich bin so stolz auf Sonya! Und vielen, vielen Dank für dieses wundervolle Geschenk, ich freue mich riesig! :-)))                

Vorbereitungen --- Prearrangements

Tatsächlich, ich habe gebastelt, mehrere Stunden lang! Allerdings hab ich noch nichts zum Zeigen, es handelt sich nämlich um Dekoration für die Geburtstagsparty unseres Freundes Rolf, der nächste Woche seinen 50. feiert (Boah, bist du schon soooo alt, mein lieber Rolf?!!! *grins*). Mal sehen, ob wir die Sachen noch fotografiert bekommen. ;-)

Und dann hab ich einen lieben Award bekommen von Müppi   vielen Dank, liebe Gisela, für diese Ehre! :-))  

Ich möchte ihn gerne weiter geben an          Caro     -     Margot        -     Sonya

Actually I did some crafting, I worked several hours! And yet I have nothing to show to you, because I made decoration for our friend  Rolf`s birthday party. He will celebrate his 50th birthday (good grief, are you really that old, my dear Rolf?!!!!! LOL). I`ll try to make a picture of the deco later. 

And I received a kind award from   Müppi   - thank you very much for this honour! :-)))
